What's going on in my life

I just got to college here in Louisville, Kentucky. Wow, everything is different than it was at home. I'm away from Amy, from my parents, and from Chris and my church. The guys on the team haven't really been too friendly so far. My roommate, Kyle, is a complete mess. I don't know how I will be able to survive in our nasty room. I'm looking forward to meeting new people out here, but I'm worried about allowing myself to do things I know I shouldn't do. I wonder how everyone is doing back at home. I try to talk to Amy on the phone, but it's a little weird. Sometimes my mind wanders, and I think she can tell. I want to be interested in everything she's telling me, but I get tired or distracted. Oh well, it's time for practice. Later.
